  • Carrying out prevention and immunization work to control the spread of communicable diseases, and arranging carrier screenings
  • Where an occupational safety specialist is present, recommending and evaluating the measurements needed to monitor the working environment based on health surveillance results, in cooperation with that specialist
  • Keeping employees informed and obtaining their consent regarding health surveillance, and adequately informing them of health risks and the examinations performed
  • Arranging the necessary laboratory tests, radiological examinations, and carrier screenings; controlling communicable diseases; running immunization programs; and continuously monitoring the general hygiene conditions of the workplace and its facilities
  • Preparing the annual work plan in cooperation with the occupational safety specialist where one is present, recording health-surveillance activities at the workplace, and submitting the annual evaluation report electronically to the Ministry in the format set out in Annex-5

1.3 Training and Awareness

  • Organizing first-aid and emergency-response services at the workplace and ensuring staff are trained, in line with applicable regulation
  • Cooperating with relevant parties to provide knowledge and training in occupational health, hygiene, and ergonomics
  • Training workplace managers, occupational health and safety board members, employees, and their representatives on general health topics, and ensuring this training continues over time
