To sustain the Foundation's mission, the Lokman Hekim Joint Health and Safety Unit was established in 2013 and continues operating today, regularly donating 7% of its gross revenue back to the Lokman Hekim Health Foundation.

Law No. 6331 on Occupational Health and Safety

Law No. 6331 addressed occupational health and safety in a dedicated law for the first time, bringing every employee — public and private sector alike — within its scope.

Class A and B occupational safety specialists may serve

Class A, B, and C occupational safety specialists may serve

Under the law, every workplace must retain occupational safety professionals such as an occupational safety specialist and a workplace physician.
